At Minh Dam, 5km from Long Hai, there are caves with historical connections to the Vietnam war. Nearby, there is a mountain top temple with great panoramic views of the coastline.
Fishing village (7 km): Visit a fishing village where there are many types of courlorful boats and discover the habits and the daily life of the fishermen.
At about 45km north of Long Hai, there are hot springs at Binh Chau. The baths, in different sizes, range from 37oC to 40oC and the minerals in the water are said to be beneficial to the bones, muscles and skin. They are also said to improve blood circulation. There are also a couple of hot springs. The hottest spring reaches 82oC which is hot enough to boil an egg in 10 to 15 minutes.
Besides the possibilities of using our bicycles or renting cars, the resort can organize some daily excursions such as Vung Tau City Tour, Vung Tau Ocean Park, fishing by canoe or boat, Long Son Islet (Mr. Tran religion and ecologic system of mangrove forest) and Binh Chau Hot Spa that the World Tourism Organization has added to its list of sustainable ecotourism resorts and has also added to its World Tourism Organisation's website.

Chua Phap Hoa, 4km away, is a peaceful pagoda set in a forest with lots of wild monkeys. There are some good trails here for short hikes.
